Business Website/Blog
As an administrator for the Uniquely Chic Vintage and Uniquely Chic Vintage Rentals website, I manage U.C.VINTAGE: A Behind the Scenes Blog. My responsibilities include post planning, most writing, and all editing of the content, which introduces and informs UCV and UCVR clientele to company products and culture.
The blog is essential in networking with the vendors, venues, and clients we work with regularly to create trending and unique looks for the custom furniture and event rental industry. It is also a forum to highlight company achievements and goals, with behind the scenes features and insight into the world of vintage furniture.
“5 Reasons Why Wedding Rentals are the Better Option” promotes the value and convenience of wedding rentals for busy couples. Included in the post is a video slideshow I created highlighting the “5 Reasons,” which accompanies the link on all shares to raise social media interest.
Study Abroad Website/Blog
Dodging Borders is a website I designed and developed to prepare for and document my experience studying abroad and living overseas. Aspects of the site include my blog, photo gallery, and Global Scholar coursework for the American Institute of Foreign Study (AIFS). Maintaining the site helped and still helps me understand the process, share my discoveries, and cope with culture shock.
Since my return to the states, I have continued updating the site and posting to my blog, as I plan on returning to Europe in the future and want to record my further experiences with social interaction, international education, and possibly employment.
